The LA-based hip hop duo The Seige commissioned the studio to develop the CG sequences for the music video for their track “Back Up.”

Facial animations and LED-wall elements were created in After Effects, while the dance choreography and camera transitions were produced in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane. Due to tight turnaround times, full volumetrics weren’t feasible, so these were simulated in After Effects by combining exported 3D camera data with precise LED-wall masking and Trapcode Shine to generate controlled light-beam effects.
