Elton John: Farewell Yellow Brick Road Visuals
The aim of this project, commissioned by Treatment Studio, was to create vivid expressive visuals for “Bennie and the Jets”, the opening track of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road stadium tour. The visuals were also used for Elton’s headlining Glastonbury Pyramid stage set in 2023. It centred on reimagining the Elton John Diamonds album illustrations by
Richard Kilroy, each portraying Elton at pivotal moments across his career.The original artwork was taken, remixed and transformed into a vibrant, expressive painterly neon aesthetic. The animation aimed to create a piece that felt both contemporary and connected to Elton’s iconic visual legacy.
