Islamic Arts Biennale 2025

We collaborated with Kate Dawkins Studio on a piece for the Islamic Arts Biennale 2025, visualising a journey through 1,300 years of Islamic mathematics, astronomy and it’s application to the world. Using a selection of ancient and contemporary artefacts, we interpreted each through animation.

The first half explores pure mathematics and the celestial realm; the second examines how these ideas shaped the material world. Working closely with Kate Dawkins, the exhibition’s curators, and historians, we crafted a highly intricate, evolving journey through the Islamic scientific universe.
