Unity At The Sphere - Nocturnal/Tomorrowland
We partnered with Treatment Studios to create an immersive segment for Unity at the Las Vegas Sphere, produced in collaboration with super-rave festivals Insomniac and Tomorrowland.
The brief was to design an ultra-detailed, audio-reactive neon rave rainforest so we built a cast of luminous animals, birds, trees, shrubs, and vines to populate the environment, each one fully audio-reactive. The colour palette drew inspiration from black-light UV neon tones beloved by ravers worldwide.
To achieve granular control over the audio reactivity, we developed a custom Houdini pipeline that allowed us to precisely tune how every element responded to the music, resulting in a deeply synesthetic experience.
By using optimised geometry, COPs textures, and Redshift proxies, we created a highly efficient render pipeline capable of delivering the enormous resolution required by the venue.
